Crashing after 'The Golden Idol'

Yes, plays very well up to the point when Indy takes the empty glass from Marcus's hand and turns back to the desk then bang, straight to desktop. Game restarts OK pressing continue puts you back to the beginning of the scene with Indy & Marcus and crashes at exactly the same point. My own fault, I shouldn't have fallen for the hype and only bought it 6 months later to give Bethesda time to sort the bugs out.

Same (scene with Indy & Marcus) bug crashes the game to crash to desktop.

My game fixed when I verified the integrity of the files. I do appreciate this might not work for everyone.

Just ran in into this error now. More than 2 months later. Bethesda doing Bethesda stuff (nothing to fix bugs obviously) I’m currently verifying gamefiles. Lets see if it works.

Verifying gamefiles did in fact work for me. Whatever the f was wrong with the files because I just downloaded it.
