Arachnophobia Mode ?

I've seen a part in the trailer where a spider crawl upon your arm after Indy unlocks some kind of door mechanism in a wall.

As someone super arachnophobic I found this much scarier than unrealistic spider monsters in most games including some with an arachnophobia mode in options.

So is this option available in the game ?

If not, should I expect a lot of sequences like that ?

I don't know if there is Arachnophobia mode (I think it doesn't), but from what I could gather from youtube and other sites, I can confirm that there are some scenes with spiders and some with scorpions aswell. But they are all pretty quick, like the one you saw in the trailer.

Watch this video in window mode so it minimizes your fear and it doesn't trigger your phobia at 100%. At some points it shows 3 or 4 moments that have spiders and scorpions on the floor. I would say it you're gonna get some jump scares, but as I've said it's pretty quick.

I hope you can play the game even without an arachnophobia mode. I know it sounds scary, but as I've said 3 times already, the moments are pretty quick, so maybe you can overcome your decease momentarily and have fun.

Hi there! There sadly does not seem to be any arachnophobia mode in the settings. However it's just one part in the game with spiders and it's at the start. They do make you swipe the spiders away with button prompts. That was very unsettling for me, who is arachnophobic. If you can get through that one part then you're golden.

Scorpions also trigger arachnophobia because they are arachnids as well. And there are more moments with them in the game though.

Unfortunately, no arachnophobia mode that I can tell. There's a scene at the beginning, and then another instance a few hours in. Not sure if there will be more or not.

For some reason Im usually ok with scorpions.
If I can anticipate the bad parts it should be ok but the part Im refering to in initial post is very the kind of stuff that takes you by surprise that can be a little traumatic for me.

use it for immersion. indy hates snakes and has to deal with them constantly lol. but in all honesty, if you have a phobia that effects you this much and happens enough that youre asking about special settings in video games Id suggest exposure therapy. probably something you should try to get over eventually

I know right, people like these are always in these discussions for phobias not realizing what the word actually means. Its a phobia for a reason godsake
