Poor performance after restarting game
I'm getting almost 100 FPS on Medium-High Settings. But when I restart the game, the FPS tanks to 15. I don't get more than 15FPS, irrespective of whatever settings I change.
But as soon as I restart my PC, the performance is back to 100FPS. So I have to restart my PC everytime to gain back the performance.
Is anyone else facing similar issue?

I have seen many have the same issue, from 60fps to 15 fps if I restart the game
The only fix right now is to restart your PC.
Hopefully they fix this issue ASAP.

The problem is in your graphics settings.

Fix: set the “Texture pool size” setting to low, you have an overflow of video memory.

It's on low. VRAM usage is under limit. If it was due to exceeding VRAM, why does it run so well the first time. But only after I restart the game, the issue occurs. So probably when the game is closed, the VRAM cache isn't cleared and the next time when we start the game video memory is full.

Does your video card have at least 8gb of video memory?

Found another fix.

You do not need to restart your PC. Instead go to user>[username]>saved games>Machine games>Indiana Jones and delete the config files(both local and cfg file).
You need to do this everytime before the start the game though.

I faced a similar issue, and it turned out to be related to DLSS. After I changed DLSS to 'Native,' the performance stabilized, even after restarting the game. Maybe give that a try and see if it works for you!

I personally have this problem and I found out that the widescreen mode is lagging somehow and something is wrong with the synchronization.. try changing the screen modes back and forth directly in the game and turning the synchronization on and off..
Turn off DLSS and on again. This works for me

mine will put up the Bethesda Square and then the Bethesda logo freeze on the screen, but you can hear the music and play in the background

^ This. (Deleting the config file resets your settings so its basically the same but turn DLSS off and on, this or that way, is the solution)

same problem here, game runs great and then I close it and re-open it and it runs terribly (sub 10fps) with the same settings.

Only problem i see on my desktop is its artifacts in the cut scenes, other than that it runs perfect, 4070 super with dlss
