No DS Edge support

I really don't get Sony...make one of the best controllers in the world and then barely support it and its partners on PC, where they are making a mint double-dipping. It should be the new standard for controllers...and I understand the Edge brings additional features, but at the very least make it work like a basic Dualsense. I bought two versions of the XBox elite controller, but haven't even considered the Edge, even though the DS is my favorite controller, despite the fact that I have to use it wired on my PC.

Sorry for the stream of consciousness rant on the topic...just kinda shocking.
