Game Crashing Immediately on Startup
Everytime I try to load up the game I see a black screen for about a second, then it crashes. I've tried uninstalling reinstalling, verifying files, restarting computer, updating drives basically all the simple stuff. I have AMD radeon RX 6500 XT and AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6 core. Plenty of memory on my pc. I know my graphics card is under the minimum but some other things i've read is that people under minimum is at least getting farther than me, any ideas?

This game sux, lol.

I made some progress and possibly fixed my problem!...for now anyway.

I ran all the Window updates (Windows 10) and updated all other device drivers I could via Windows Device Manager--this didn't fix the problem.

BUT, then I:

(1) Went to the official AMD website: https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html

(2) I downloaded the Auto-Detect and Install app and ran it

(3) The app automatically downloaded and installed the best drivers available for my device

(4) After installation of (3), I restarted my PC

I no longer get stuck on the Building Shader Pipelines BS and so far it hasn't crashed! I am now in the game and starting to play...so far so good!

After trying every single piece of advice I saw yesterday, I did this and it finally worked for me.

I had the game crash on me at startup, the 99.9% pipeline thing. After I updated the graphics Drivers, AMD, it's working now.

I have the same problem - it gets to screen with Havoc, etc. listed then crashes to desktop. It doesn't help if I start it in safe mode. And I have Nvidia, not AMD GPUs.

Same issue. It ran for half an hour before earlier today. Now it won't start. I did a Windows Update since and xtarted it remotley through Steam Streaming. Restarting the PC and starting the game on the host machine dircetly doesn't help either. Big bummer.

I got it back running after a while (for now). I reinstalled my latested Windows Updates, though I don't think that's it.
Then I uninstalled all Intel Arc video drivers, rebooted, then did a clean new driver install (first windows wouldn't recognise the card anymore, so I did the whole thing again) and finally the game started and worked as before.

Kann ich bestätigen! Aktuellste Version AMD Grafik Treiber (Adrenalin) heruntergeladen, installiert und es läuft! "Amoury Crate" vorher noch deinstalliert.

No problem. I've been playing for hours and still NO problems. I hope everyone else can figure out their issues...this game is good and just like the movie!

ОГРОМНОЕ СПАСИБО, помогло.
У меня RX6700XT
I had the same issue with my 6700xt. Turns out the driver was last updated in August and hadn't auto update to the latest version from the 5th of December. I downloaded it direct from AMD and now it works great.

try lower video settings to use less video memory.
I have no issues on high details, but when i tried ray tracing in the option and start turning on additional ray tracing options, game crashed.
