Game Crashing Immediately on Startup

Everytime I try to load up the game I see a black screen for about a second, then it crashes. I've tried uninstalling reinstalling, verifying files, restarting computer, updating drives basically all the simple stuff. I have AMD radeon RX 6500 XT and AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6 core. Plenty of memory on my pc. I know my graphics card is under the minimum but some other things i've read is that people under minimum is at least getting farther than me, any ideas?

Same problem. i7-12700, 32RAM, rtx3080 10gb. I played 30 min., get first achivement, then game crashed and... it crashing at start after logo. update driver, restart PC - nothing helped

Try "+com_skipIntroVideo 1" in your launch options and you may still crash but if you try 2 or 3 times in a row should get you in and you'll be stable after that

Just installed and am getting the same thing. Radeon RX 6750 XT and crashes when shaders are loading at 99.9%. I don't see any driver updates for Adrenaline

I had a similar issue. Black screen with text about shader compilation flashing up for a second, then back to desktop.
When I verified game files, it turned out that about 61gb of the files where somehow damaged. After letting Steam fix that, the game runs without a problem for me.

Validation found nothing, hoping they put out a patch for this - seems to only affect AMD users from the threads on here

I get to the end of the logos and it crashes. Intel i9-7960X CPU, Dual 2080 TI's, not that having two means much these days. 32g ram.

I tried the skip intro trick above and now get a second or so of a black screen with what I think is birds before it crashes again.

I'm having the same issue. Starting up and then goes through the developers and then a flicker of black. That's it...

i`m check Win10 updates, drivers. Then i`m check game files, found 1 corrupted, fix and game start

For amd users you need a new cpu update it was released today I think that should fix the problem it's working so far for me
