Whip not working. Anyone else?

At some point ingame my whip was not working anymore. Pressing R1 on controller doesnt whip and i cant progress the story. Am i doing something wrong?

is there anyway i couldve lost the whip accidentally? or am i forced to start a new save

Test if your controller input is not working

keyboard not responding either, controller input working. had to reroll to a previous save to fix.

I'm having the same problem with the whip and the camera not working on the key board or the controller and going back to the last save doesn't fix it. Has anyone heard of an actual fix for this? its made my game unplayable without those working.

Same issue restarting/quitting the game and same with keyboard button and controller. Its probably a bug in this area that needs to be fixed/patch hopefully.

Same issue I can't use whip and i can't unequip my camera. I just rolled back my save from the save spot that was the only way I could fix it.

This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks for me. I can only go back to Marshall college....after all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gameplay I did in Italy. I don' think rolling back is a fix. Because it could happen again!

They need to fix this crap

Same issue here, I'm in a area where whip is needed so I'm stuck, I spoke about that with a streamer playing the game and I was almost banned by the community thinking I was just stupid or doing bad review just to annoy the streamer.. (even if I'm paying for more than 7 months for this streamer) anyway... It's a good game but this bug is a game killer, I hope it will be fixed quick ;)

Could this be a controller related issue? I've not had any problems playing with KB&M.

You mean a defective controller ? maybe, but from the moment I could not use my whip with my controller , I tried with my keybord, I also reasigned the whip and the same issue occured

no just wondering if playing with the controller causes issues in the game. did you try and unplugging it and then try the keyboard?
I've seen a few people have similar issues and as far as I could tell all of them used a controller
