HDR will not enable saying my hardware doesn't meet the requirements.

My pc and monitor setup along with hdmi cable is perfectly capable and I run HDR on all other games.
My specs are:
Alienware 3225QWF QD OLED Monitor 240hz "with obviously HDR"
Ryzen 7 7800 X3D
7900 XTX
32 GB DDR5 6000mhz
etc....

I have the same issue, and while I'm in game my monitor shows that HDR is actually on.

LG UltraGear 45" OLED WQHD
Ryzen 7 7800 X3D
Radeon RX 7900 XT
32 GB DDR

I thought it might be the case the settings are just bugged but HDR isn’t on for me. I tested it on a couple things such as streaming in discord which would be super bright on the stream if my hdr was on with my 1000nits brightness. Hope an update comes out in the morning or someone has a fix.

I am in an environment where HDR can be enabled, but I get a warning that “this hardware does not support HDR mode”.

I had the same issue, I had to switch from HDR Peak 1000 to DisplayHDR True Black. HDR doesn't seem to work in HDRP1000. (change it in the OSD menu on the monitor).

Seems to be an AMD problem maybe? I noticed everyone here has AMD stuff and I have Nvidia without any HDR issues so far. Also curious if you are running in fullscreen or not as that may effect it

I'm on All AMD hardware and an AW34 UW, I had to manually set my monitor to True Black, it wouldn't accept HDR with HDRP1000.

I am so sorry. The problem has just been resolved.
I had not applied the latest version of AMD Adrenalin “Edition 24.12.1”.
After I applied the latest version, I was able to enable HDR.
I guess I forgot the basics...

Cool After updating it also runs fine with monitor set to HDR Peak1000!!!

Yeah amd update just didn’t successfully install for me. Everything works great now!
