I only have a i7-9700f - not min CPU
Hi All,

Yes I know I need an upgrade. Was going to buy the game but noticed I have below CPU specs.

My specs: i7-9700f
GPU - RTX 3080
Ram - 32GB DDR4

Anyone able to launch the game and run on similiar specs to mine?

I will try with my home pc later today. Not very hopeful but at least could be a reference for people.

Core i7 6500k
GTX 1080 Ti
RAM - 16GB
SSD

VERY unlikely to work.

Only just now tried it for a few minutes so I could answer. I have your exact CPU and RAM, paired a with a RTX 4070. Game booted up fine and started the first area. Gonna have to fiddle with the graphics more, it was kind of choppy on the high preset it was defaulted to. Will play some more tomorrow hopefully.

Yes!! Thanks for the update. I game on ultra wide 3440x1440p which might help by putting more pressure on the gpu as opposed to cpu.

Game requires video cards that can run ray tracing. Do not buy if you only have a 1080. 1080 ti is a beast and still use it in my second rig.

"Additional Notes: SSD required; GPU Hardware Ray Tracing Required; Graphic Preset: Low / Resolution: 1080p (Native) / Target FPS: 60"

I knew. And I have a laptop to play on + a new pc next year. FYI the mouse icon next to the username indicates that the user owns the game already. But thanks for the warning though.

Well in my case it runs on my asus rog ally x at 30fps
so I am optimistic to my pc which has much more better settings than that.

I'm running a 4070ti super, I7-8700k, and only 16gb of ram. According to the games recommended specs, i should barely be able to play it on minimum settings but so far I've never dipped below 70fps on the second to highest settings and ususally it remains stable around 144fps. It's incredibly well optimized.

Also got a i7 9700k witg 32 gig ram and a rtx 3080. Interested in more experiences with the 9700k before taking the plunge with the game.

As a fellow 9700K owner, I was wondering this too. Not really inclined to upgrade it just for a single game.

But the Ars Technica review said they used an i7-8700K and it was fine, so we're probably be ok. Seems the graphics card is more important than the processor.

Ok only wanted to provide some info and possibly save someone some stress and annoyance. I do have the game but recieved it for free from a MSI rtx 4080 super I bought on the 29th.

OK. Not sure about CPU, but with my unsupported gfx card (1080 ti), the game will say you're missing vulk rey query something if you try to launch it.

That's great to hear! What is your graphics card and how much RAM do you have?
