Something is causing "flashing/shimmering" on my screen
Is it DLSS? I have a 4080. There is a "shimmer" or flash around the screen some times. Any idea of what setting this might be?

EDIT: I think it was DLSS - I turned it off for now. Seems to have fixed things.

Yeah its noticeable even on DLAA, switching to native TAA solves the issue.

Switching to TAA didn’t fully solve the issue for me.
However, my monitor supports G-Sync – I turned that OFF in the Nvidia Panel => problem solved

Leaving this here just in case :)

For me it was DLSS frame gen. Once I turned that off, it went away. DLSS quality is fine without framegen.

With a 4080, you can play it native. No need for DLSS or FG

I don't have frame gen and I still got this shimmering only with DLSS

Seems to have been g-sync for me, running it on a 4070 super.

Did you turn off gsync only for the game or globally?

I would say use FSR 3.1 over DLSS like I do on my 4080 but they chose not to put in FSR in this game so you have to deal with the horrible flickering. And 4 FPS raytracing medium settings on my 4080 super is rough.

Vram issue, reduce your textures pool size, you'll get all the fps back.

Same issue here on a 2080 so I really need the extra dlss frames. Will try disabling gsync
