Also, leaving it off means it will survive a game restart. With the FG toggle (back to on) everytime restarted the game the stutters came back. With it off it is permanent which seems to me what the toggling is doing anyways. Hope they can fix this.
I also experience minor stutters/hitches when the game autosaves; otherwise, it performs smoothly as butter.
Also, the weird hickups on every camera cut during cutscenes are mighty annoying.
Contrary to what Digital Foundry says, i don't think this game is in a good technical state right now.
Hope they release a fix pronto...
I had the same thing and fixed it. Literally just.... turned my monitor off and back on again while in game. Don't know why, but I'm not complaining. ZERO stutters since, and it's been hours.
Also noticed how frame gen only improved framerate by 10-20%, with my gpu being utilized by only 60% sometimes (rtx 4080)
Definitely weird.
NVIDIA's game ready driver, ironically is the cause of the stutters.
