Anyone noticing a stuttering issue?
I have a pretty beefy machine, and have been having stuttering problems in Silent Hill 2 (from what I understood the game is just kinda busted and doesn't run well) but noticing the same problem in this game. Random fps drops constantly for a split second causing stuttering. Just curious if this is happening to anyone else or maybe something is wrong with my machine.

Mine has been running fine but i found that with silent hill 2 it ran better when i turned re-sizable bar off in the bios, may be worth a shot.

Are you using frame gen?

YES, happened to me, EVERYTHING MAXED out, DLAA ... that FRAMEGENERATION after a while seems to get a hickup and starts stuttering. I turned it off for now.

RTX4080 with todays latest nvidia drivers.

No frame gen, I am using standard DLSS though.

I’m noticing jerkiness in the cut scenes even though fps locked 60

I think I figured it out - I just built this PC and never set up the global nvidia control panel settings. I found a recommended list of them and set that on, and then in game turned off vsync and that seemed to help quite a bit. It didn't totally fix it, but it is way more stable now so at least I found part of the fix. Now it seems to stutter every minute or so (which I am relatively okay with, doesn't seem to stutter in some of my older games like ESO) instead of every few seconds.

Seems to be an issue with DLSS on mine, switched it to TAA, don't have any issues now

I have FPS stuttering with a 10700K and 4080 Super. Frame Gen and DLSS, nor any of the settings seem to help. Only setting I found to make a meaningful difference at all was the texture pool and that just raises/lowers the overall FPS in general.

I had the stuttering in Silent Hill 2 as well. Game will be 60+ for a few seconds, maybe a minute, then 1-7 for a second then back to normal

I have some freezes every 20 seconds - just in the opening sequence walking down the hill. Controller freezes in the menu as well.
79503DX and an RTX3090, GameReady drivers - does feel weird for sure.

I Get the stutter/freezes in menus too
