dualsense controller

the dual sense controller has no haptics or vibrations on native support. Is just me or is everybody facing this problem?

Could anyone spell this out for me? My current understanding:

On steam there is native support for dual sense but with no haptics or rumble. Is this a bug or just not implemented? Does it work on game pass version natively?

You can use the steam input instead and that gives you rumble in a limited form but there are some other issues (e.g the options and the central pad are the same button for me).

Would love to find the optimum solution here.

It actually detects as a dualshock 4 controller. If you unlock the console you can see it says something like detected dualshock4 controller when using Dualsense. Of course the edge on the other hand is not supported at all. Even with the current patch.

It worked once when I disabled steam input but then it stopped working after restart and running nvidia experience optimizer

rumble started working for me 2 days ago, they must have updated it (game pass version)

I've had no issues using Dualsense since Day 0 with all the bells and whistles, you just need to have it wired, not wireless, as hardly no games support haptic wireless on PC's as the bluetooth connections on PC's is just too weak compared to the PS5.
