dualsense controller
the dual sense controller has no haptics or vibrations on native support. Is just me or is everybody facing this problem?

I managed to make the DS work by unplugging and plugging in with the game open. Steam input was off.

While the game showed PS buttons, there was no rumble, haptics or adaptative triggers though.

With steam input on it works even wireless, but it only has normal rumble and it shows Xbox icons.

yeah im having the same problem. reconecting it does the trick, but so far no rumble :c
I guess we will have to play it with a xbox controller or DSX in 360 mode.

Yeah, I'm using an Xbox Controller. It just works fine with or without a cable.

Shame, the DS works great wired on Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Are DualSense's haptic feedback and adaptive trieger really working?
I can't find anywhere, except here, that haptic feedback and adaptive triggers work.
I've tried everything in the threads here and it didn't work for me.

if u playing with the gamepass version, it should be the issue, usually gamepass versions of games have (intentionally) bad support for dualsense, they want you to use a xbox pad.

probably some people can get it to work because they are playing it thru steam

has anyone not had rumble on the game pass version and been able to fix it? I've tried a wired Xbox controller, a dualsense, i've got up to date dualsense firmware, i've got vibration on in the Xbox accessories app and i've got vibration set to 100 in the game but i'm getting nothing at all, it's really my only issue with the game other than the lack of an animation for getting out of water, i've never had this issue in any other games

no rumble also for me both on xbox and dualsense. To be honest sometimes there is a very weak vibration on xbox controller after sprinting but that's all. sounds like a bug

Its an xbox exclusive why would it have haptic and dualsense support?

it was always planned for PS5 as it was in development before Microsoft bought Bethesda AND it's coming to PS5 in a few months so of course it's going to support it. Although i'd just be happy with rumble working for now.
