No crosshair dot off option? Really?

This is 2024. Why can’t you have the option to turn off the dot/crosshair? It ruins the immersion seeing it on screen all the time.

Just put a small piece of duct tape in the center of the screen and you will not see the crosshair. Easy!

This and the stuttering during cutscenes are my two biggest issues with the game.

I noticed this right away too, very disappointing. Hopefully a future patch or mod adds it as an option

Yeah because it's totally normal for paid customers having to fix what should've been done by developers. Get outta here.

press Alt + F4 ingame together to remove the crosshair

Workaround

I find this very annoying and not usefull at all.
Install HudSight 2 from https://hudsight.com/
Select the Dot-4x4 and make it black (Color mask R:0, G:0, B:0) and now the crosshair is "gone".
Assign a Visibility hotkey for cutscenes, if you can see it.

This game is great accept for the DOT!!!!! It has the immersiveness of seeing something on the end of my nose that I can't get rid of. Why is this a good idea?

The Dot doesn't always mark the spot, but it sure is annoying as hell.
