Unpacking taking forever

Normally unpacking takes -10-20 min for me max. I'm on 1h45m now, and 60% done. So short answer, -no this is not normal.

That's why I just wait until it is released and download it then, cuz I download at ~90-100MB/s so it takes like 20-30m.

I preloaded the entire game 20x faster then it is unpacking. This is some weird downloading porn in the 90s slow a** ♥♥♥♥.

Didnt have to restart steam, 5600X unpacked it in about 10-15mins.. Play button is still grey : -)

i got 2mb btw, took the entire day to dw, and now still waiting at night for the unpack, but being there at launch with the usual bs is part of the fun i guess, lol, more things going wrong makes u more exited to play x)

I have a 5800x3d, so shouldnt really be a problem. Grey button sucks. I'm about to give up and go to bed, so we'll se tommorow if my play button works after the unpacking has dragged itself across the finish line.

This is not my first time, it takes awhile to unpack and installed, I mean the game is 120 Gbs even on ssd drives. All other games i have play on early access like this, had the same issue. The difference is that normally the game downloads and installs at the same time, in this case the game was not fully installed in the computer so It has to go through the process even if it is already download it.
