Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Building shader pipelines
Does anyone else's game crash after startup logos where it says "building shader pipelines 99.9%" or is it just me? If anyone knows a way to fix this I'd love you forever.

Same here, I either get a black screen or building shader pipeline and it’s stuck on 100%

this got rid of my save file even if i just rename it
I’m stuck at 100% shader progress as well. It worked at first but after a save it doesn’t load.
Deleting the Indiana Jones folder from Saved Games folder worked for me.
The source of the problem seems critical, the game seems to be making a mistake while writing the save data, a simple test is enough.

I looked at the game save files, it seems that the file series with the ".details" files are problematic. If you clear these from the save file, the game will open without any problems, but since these are the things that run the save files, you will have to start a new game.

Now the game is currently unplayable.. sad.. the developers of the game must solve this, there is no other way. So the problem is not your systems or anything else.

Whatever mistake they made the game cannot load these files, which proves why it does not give a shader based error when restarting the new game.

In this case.. you can start a new game and complete the challenge without closing the game lel

Unless you start and close the game and load the save files again, you won't experience this problem right? eazy to fix guys
I found a temporary solution to the problem! After you play as much as you want and close the game, follow these steps to make your save work:

1. Cut the save folder from its location and paste it somewhere else to your computer.
2. Open the game and start a new game.
3. Once you have control of the character, without closing the game, paste your save folder back into its location. When prompted to replace files, click "Yes."
4. Quit the game to return to the main menu and click "Continue."

The game will load from your original save! Enjoy!!!
If you are on Xbox Game Pass PC and also have an Xbox Series, the work around I found was to download and start the game on Xbox, overwrite the corrupted save on Xbox, and then you can play it on your PC.

I know it's not the most pretty solution but if you don't have an Xbox Series but know a friend or family member, ask to see if they can help you out.
Nope.. It's very clever, but game saves don't usually work like that, I tested it and even though I'm in the egypt zone in the game, it starts the game right behind the giant circular stone ball in the first chapter and broke the entire game.

And.. something else came to my mind.. I opened the new game again and opened a 2nd save slot file using the same technique. I exited the game and I copied my old game files to slot 2, but this time it did not see the save in the 2nd slot at all, so this did not yield any results either.

There are much bigger problems here, definitely not the kind that can be solved with these techniques.. It's pretty bad news, there's no choice but to wait until a fix arrives.

You’re absolutely right!!! My last save happened to be in a huge ball, but out of excitement that it worked, I didn’t even take a single step forward, I just logged in and wrote that I found the solution!! Sorry, it doesn’t actually work; Kittypiwe is right.

They will get it sorted in the next few days, just hang tight.
Except people paid extra to play it early. They shouldn't have to wait until the notmie release date for fixes. If this game isn't working it should be refunded. At the minimum people should only be getting charged the base game price.
Updating my video driver fixed this for me. (AMD Radeon 6800XT)

Had the same problem. Installed the new Nvidia Driver and it worked afterwards.
AMD :(
I have AMD RX 6750XT, loading also freeze and crash at 99.9%, but after updating the driver, everything started loading as it should.
5900x and 3080ti stuck at 100% loading shaders and a black screen never got to the main menus
