Game breaking save issues. Are devs aware?

The game claims saving has failed, and when exiting and re-entering, the save is corrupted and not usable forcing a rollback. this happened twice during the sukothai level after exiting a boat with gina.

also, more importantly, one of the worst save game bugs i have ever encountered has happened to me twice. i have no idea what causes it. but when travelling to a previously explored area (like going from Gizeh back to Vatican) the game will completely break itself into thinking i have not done the story missions for that section yet. i get the intro cutscene and everything. i have tried fast travelling to other areas, but this only breaks it further, and every level i travel to, starts from the beginning cutscene again, as the game thinks i havent done the story missions yet. its weird because my side missions i completed and items i collected are still there, but it still thinks ive never been to the level before...i have had to do a save rollback multiple times, and the save rollbacks unfortunately lag VERY far behind from where i was before the game "broke", meaning ive had to replay the same parts of the game multiple times, losing hours of progress.

i love the game, but at this point im afraid to keep playing it. i really hope i am not the only person dealing with this, but google didnt come up with anything. i can only hope devs are aware and working on a fix.

They probably are aware but just don't care. Any game that goes on Welfarepass day one usually has the same issues.

lol im on welfarepass. i didnt see myself playing the game for more than a month, and i was right, so $13 over $70 was a no brainer

Had the same problem where I lost my whole game progress. I am playing through Game Pass on PC. Managed to fix the issue by starting a new game and playing until the guy runs away from the bats. Then select save slot and roll back the save. You will lose some progress but not the whole thing.
