Sales Numbers on Steam?
I really don't understand why this game isn't selling more copies on Steam. Maybe they are killing it on consoles ie doing very good? From what I have seen and heard, this is a top notch adventure and puzzle game (a la Tomb Raider)... and a very good if not great video game in general. I haven't heard much on the story yet, but it looks like it could have an extremely interesting story enhanced with the high production value of the game.

Its a niche game. Its story-driven exploration game with puzzle solving and little to no shooting. Just because everyone knows and loves Indy Jones movies doesnt mean it will appeal to everyone

It's not that niche. The reason that I just thought of that explains it perfectly. This is on Xbox GamePass for free.

I felt the marketing for this game was pretty sub-par.. I don't remember any hype behind the game.

should of been released in conjunction with the last movie.

So was Starfield, that's where I played it.

Indiana Jones game Steam all time peak players: 12,138 rank 1,064 all time
Gas Station Simulator: 12,229 rank 1,055 all time

The game has been beaten by a gas station simulator game that launched in 2021. The last Indiana Jones movie hit the IP hard. And the minimum requirements to play the game removed half of the people on Steam. This game was doomed from the start. Nobody cares about it anymore.

It has less reviews on Game pass than here on Steam.

It's because people arent interested in it.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

1. IJ is a thoroughly damaged brand, last two movies were hot trash.
2. Disney is an even more damaged brand and all franchises under its umbrella suffer as a result.
3. Puzzles are too easy - not a good thing for an IJ game.
4. Combat is lame.
5. Perception of wokeness caused by moronic "made for modern audiences" promo video.

Personally, I think this game will be more popular on PS if it gets released there because that audience is conditioned to appreciate mediocre movie non-games.

Because less than 1% of computers in the entire world can even launch the game. They killed the game on pc when they made raytracing mandatory. Most people are on GTX 1650s

Stalker 2 deserved more credit than this game. Just look at the sale numbers, graphics and gameplay. Xbots really trying to fool us that this game is good.,
