How do you make money to buy all the books from the shops?

Since money doesn't respawn, and Indy doesn't loot fascist; How does one make enough money to buy every book?

By stealing all the money you can find and completing the side missions, especially the boxing ones.

Money is found in the combination chest mysteries. By winning fist fights. In enemy areas (the red zones), especially in the padlocked boxes that need a melee weapon to open. Find the enemy outfit then just take your time searching the red zones. This way you will get enough money to buy all books in an area. Once you have bought all items in an area you will unlock the donation boxes, which serve no purpose other than to use up your excess money.

Yeah just charge attack it with a metal/sturdy weapon and it'll break it open.

also it can be shot off but beware. If the prompt reads "Steal..." when raiding living quarters it means you are seen and will be attacked if you take the money.

Only thing to be weary about when looting, make sure No one can see you. Even if it not saying "steal" you can still be spotted and aggro the whole camp.
You will also find treasure in the world with quite a lot of money so keep your eyes open, and you get loot spots on map from delivering the radio codes.
