Sukothai Cogwheel Bug Prevents 100%

SO I am very close to 100% on this game. Just need 3 more cogwheels to complete the last 2 Khmer Cogwheel Puzzles and then off to Iraq to unlock the secret vault. I however believe this is now impossible due to a game breaking bug.

You require 10/10 cogwheels to complete the Khmer Cogwheel Puzzle Discovery in order to obtain all the relics. I however only have 7/10, the last 3 are obtained during the Blessed Pearl when you are at the large gate before entering the hidden pyramid.

Unfortunately, you needed to pick up and pocket these 3 cogwheels, which the game did not tell me I had to do. Thus I left them there and now upon returning, I can only find 2 and they are unable to be collected.

Essentially this has no locked me out of 100% and I worked so hard to get to this point :(

Yeah that can also work. But lot of ppl actually SEE the small ones and cant interact with them. For this ppl is my workaround tho :D

Sounds weird.
Almost all the cog-puzzles have one or more Small cog that can not be picked up, just like you cant take off all the bigger ones.

Some small cog are not On the puzzles, some are lose on the ground too.

I went back one last time, still didn't see them, and decided throw one of the large cogwheels into the boat to try and use it on another puzzle.

I grabbed a big wheel, tossed it in my boat, then I turned back around and THERE WERE TWO SMALL COG WHEELS IN THE PUZZLE RIGHT NEAR WHERE I REMOVED THE LARGE WHEEL!!!

I can think of 3 possible explanations...
1. They were there the whole time and I just didn't see them the first 3 or 4 or 5 times I checked.
2. They had spawned back in their original positions but I had left a large wheel in that same position when I completed the puzzle the first time, so it was covering them up.
3. Moving the large cogwheel somehow triggered the small ones to spawn

All I know is, I have 10/10 now and I can sleep tonight.

So, if you're experiencing the cogwheel bug, go back to the puzzle at the entrance to the hidden pyramid, remove some of the big cogwheels, and see if the little ones show up.

Just want to say thanks for providing this, however it didn't work. Basically for me there are no large cogwheels present at all, the 3 small ones are on the right side of the gate, 2 sitting on rocks and one strangely in the water.

I changed the Puzzle Difficulty to Moderate and 2 Large cogwheels appeared on the ground, either side of the gate. I did exactly what you mentioned, however the small ones did not re spawn. I could see them there even when the large cogs had spawned after the difficulty change.

It seems like this is now bugged beyond any solution I can think of.

Hi, I will be in contact with you in due time to do this. Unfortunately it seems to be the only way as the game hasn't received a patch yet and even if it does, there is no saying if this will be addressed. I just want to be able to put the game to bed with 100%.

I can confirm that this worked for me. Although, the large cogs were already on the floor when I went back to the hidden pyramid. When I put them back on, the missing small cog materialised!

I can see the cogwheels but can't interact with them.

Sadly, it doesn't work for me. I think it's because for me, the small cogs are already there. They just can't be interacted with, whereas for you they're not there at all. Sadly I'm out of options. That cheat engine fix is probably the best option right now. So surprised they have not patched this yet.

Yeah u have used 3 cogs for a quest and forgot to pick them up. So either try the workaround from nathan or, if this wont work, use mine :)

I'm at 7/10 cog also and can't for the life of me understand where are the three others. So if you don't mind enlightening me where I might have left three cogs for another quest as I can't wrap my brain around this. Why would I have needed three cogs for another quest when there are no other missions that requires them?

I threw the cog into the water but it just floats and the small cogs do not appear.
