VRAM & texture pool size
What setting would you recommend for a 12gb 4080 gpu?

I have never seen the VRAM Heap to go beyond 11 GB so you should be able to use the "Supreme" setting, in my opinion.

Thanks mate 👍🏻

Truth be told, I found an MSI gaming laptop but now I’m confused whether it’s got 12 or 16gb vram. I read an article on Nvidia’s website saying the 12gb version was ‘unlaunched’ 🤷

Model name Stealth 16 AI Studio A1VHG-002UK
Screen size 16 Inches
Colour Star Blue
CPU model Core i9
RAM memory installed size 32 GB
16" 16:10 UHD+ (3840x2400), MiniLED, 120Hz, 100% DCI-P3 (Typ.), IPS-level panel
Intel Core Ultra 9 185H
RTX 4080, GDDR6 12GB
DDR5 16GB*2
2TB NVMe PCIe Gen4x4 SSD

Found this for £600!!

All 4080 laptops have 12GB VRAM. Only the 4090 laptops have 16GB. And don't use Supreme pool size unless you have over 16GB, use ultra or high. Even though Supreme will work, you will end up getting stuttering and low fps once you exceed your VRAM
