Fried Egg?!?!

So I am missing 1 field note in Sukhothai. I have the checkpoint saved for Uncle Sunan to hand in the quest - THE KID WHO VANISHED.

What is supposed to happen is - once you hand in the quest and finish the scene, you should automatically get the Field note - FRIED EGG but it does not unlock.

I have tried the Vatican workaround and other ones found online with the CAMERA hint to cheese the achievement but its not unlocking no matter what I do.

Devs, can you please fix this? I do not want to have to play through the entire game again for 1 field note. How hard can this be?

If anyone has any tips or other ways to possibly earn this can you please let me know!

Hi,
based on my notes I received the entry after handing in the "A Study in Fear" Fieldwork, not the "The Kid Who Vanished." Maybe because I did do the Study in Fear first.

See I tried that, I made several backup saves to test. I had a fresh sukhothai save (where I done nothing yet) and I had one that had several side quests to hand in... nothing gave me it.

According to the internet - it's a known bug. You ARE supposed to get it from Sunam from completing "The Kid Who Vanished"... so I was completely out of ideas.

I managed to get it to pop by following some guides online. I had to go from Gizeh to the Vatican and take several pictures of hints so my game thought I was missing (1) and it unlocked for me (after an hour of back and forward).

But thank you so much man mentioning this. Maybe it might help others in the future. I should probably add a list in here with everything I tried personally and maybe mention I had several game save backups on "game save manager"

I think it's been said they are fixing it? Odd but they haven't dropped a patch since dec 17...so hopefully soon??

Wow, I just tried again to make a solution from another similar bug, where it was suggested to take a picture of the riddle with Jesus under the tower of Nicholas in the Vatican, and I succeeded! The trophy dropped out, but there are still 58 out of 59 in the game. Try it, and I hope it helps you.

I got it no problem. Before the disappearing kid. He told me a story about a golden hook and his cat fried egg.

This hit me as well in the first week. It's found in the the hotel in Thailand which you cannot return to, hopefully they will have a solution in the next update.

ahhh, no one said this online. Online solutions always say you get it from Sunan after doing the related quest. I might just hop back on the game and power through it just to reach the hotel, but I am more than positive I scowered that place clean when I played.

Yeah, online says you are supposed to get it that way. Even the cat pops up while hes talking indicating your supposed to get something.

Hopefully they will have a solution in the next update but its a bit crap that they have not addressed this at all for us. Not a mention of it (if there is I didn't notice)

Yeah, I told my friends to do the same thing, 100% worked for them too. So i've marked what he said as the answer so everyone else can, hopefully, unlock it too!
