Crashing at end of same cutscene

Firstly, this is my first playthrough so I can't skip the cutscene. I'm stuck in the long cutscene where Mussulini and Herr Voss are in the Vatican treasure room. Near the end of the scene, seconds after Indy punches the giant, the game crashes to desktop. No crash report, no anything. I've tried updating graphics drives, reinstalling them, rolling the drivers back to an earlier version, running the game in safe mode. Nothing seems to be working. I'm not sure I can keep watching the first 6 and a half minutes of the 7 minute cutscene. I don't want to have to quit playing this game. Send help.

This may or may not be useful. I have been stalling Windows updates because of the issues they are causing. My Xonar sound card does not work with the 24H2. I have 23H2 and the game works without any issues. Yesterday I installed Windows security update KB5053602 and when I started playing the game it was always crashing. I uninstalled the security update and the game has not crashed since.

If your game keeps crashing, check to see if this update has been installed and if so, if you have the option to uninstall it. Having 23H2 without the security update may solve your issue.
