I would like to see a few more action set pieces. I liked the exploratory nature of the game and it doesn't need to be a full on COD (or Wolfenstein since it's Machine Games) shooter, but a bit more action would be good.
That would be consistent with the movies. Slower moments followed by periods of intense action. Think of Raiders. After the brawl in the Cairo market, there's not a real action sequence for a while. Indy goes into the Nazi dig site disguised as one of the laborers. Goes into the map room. Goes to the well of the souls and retrieves the Ark. Fantastic scenes to be sure, but not really action-packed. But that's all followed by the escape from the well of the souls. The fight with the big German by the flying wing. And then the classic truck chase scene to get the Ark back.
In a very specific request, I'd like to see a horseback chase scene in the game. Along the lines of Raiders (or the tank scene in Crusade).
New sidekick/chrs. New locations. etc.
....if one is talking about gameplay or UI changes tho - well, more UI customization would be nice (size, turn it on off, turn some elements on/off etc). Less QTE moments. Less "collect xx of this item" as filler content. Maybe some harder optional puzzles/caves to find. Controls that don't feel like I'm being led by the nose just looking for action prompt icons.
I had said do a full buddy adventure with Sallah. We never truly got that in any of the movies. Thought we might get it in Dial of Destiny, but then Indy left him at the airport.

been doing this^ on the internet since 1995...
Machine Games had done something similar before with their Wolfenstein games, and I feel it would add a lot of replay value if they allowed the player to choose what kind of journey they want in a new story where each path can have different gameplay, story details, puzzles, sections, and more!
