A Savage Predicament (Gizeh) Bug

I am trying to complete this quest but my quest marker seems to be stuck. I’ve collected both the notes in the detention center and the note at the excavation site saying Sidney is in A1 tunnel. However the tunnel remains locked (can only be open from other side) and my quest marker still says search the detention center.

Anyone else have this issue and found a way around it. Is there a note I’m missing in the detention center?
