Golden idol, escape from the temple

When I run away from the temple chased by a big stone ball, I try to run to escape it but I can't. So I'm stuck at this level of the game. Can someone help me?

You mean you can’t run? Are you playing with controller or keyboard and mouse? Ultimately, you can never escape the rolling ball, but you should be able to ‘run’ until the end of the sequence

The opening level is a tutorial so to speak, and the game should display what button or key to press
