[BUG] Vatican City

So I had two quests to talk to Antonio again. One is to get a book he has for Catherine, this triggered a cutscene where he gives me a sewer key. The other quest is to show him the photos I took, Indy asks if he can use Antonio's magnifying glass but no prompt appears. I don't know if Catherine's quest and the related cutscene breaks the other quest. But I can in no shape or form show the photos first. I tried equipping them but no prompt appears, only to talk and trigger the cutscene. I have no earlier save to load back. :(

EDIT: I did try all the save rollbacks I had access to, but I think I am past that point. I usually explore a lot in these types of games, and restarting the entire game (albeit still early) is something I want to avoid.

EDIT 2: I will try completing the nun quest (The Mad Priest) and see if that does something. I'll also try taking all the pictures in "The Secrets of Giants" quest. If these don't work, I'll just have to bite the bullet and start over....

EDIT 3: So that did not work. Though I did notice that a letter from Ventura and the magnifying glass share the same space on Antonio's desk. If you have "The Stolen Cat Mummy" quest active and "The Mad Priest" and progress too far in the latter, I believe that letter replaces (for a lack of a better word) the magnifying glass and prevents it from respawning, save rollbacks will likely help here, but I have progressed too far I think.

solved it! your input regarding the "letter replaces the magnifying glass" is correct however the magnifying glass is actually respawned but not on the desk , i found under the desk near Antonio's feet lol

Did you find a fix? I know run in the same problem but i don't want to start all over again.
