Strange control bug at dragon silver path? can't let go

I have swapped difficulties and checkpoints, etc. New install as of December 22. Restarted the game several times.
I pick up the tablet start the process. Whip to jump over to the other tablet. Hand off, whip the wood so it breaks (or not) jump to the left and meander around....Indy WILL NOT LET GO of that ledge once he hits the center (or any other point in-between).... no other command works on the keyboard for him... he is locked to that wall. I can't seem to turn camera to see if the other character is wrong.

Any suggestions?

Hey I had the exact same issue, I think Indy gets bugged due to the falling vases, the character would keep trying to grab onto those rather than the ledge and it would bug out.
In regards to FIXING it I can’t help

HOWEVER
That said, I do have a solution
I ended up just running across the fire rather than using the ledge, I was quick and only lost like 5% health which quickly regenerated

This happened to me as well. Hit left control and he will let go if you are at the end
