(Spoilers for Gizeh) Stuck in the Ancient Caves (Gizeh) after revisiting it for relicts
After finishing the main story, I wanted to collect all relicts and other stuff. To do so, I travelled to Gizeh and revisited the ancient caves in Gizeh where I had to collect two remaining relicts.

But now I am stuck in the ancient caves: The door to the cave of darkness (where the boss fight took place) is closed. I also cannot track back because at the beginning of the ancient cave, I cannot crawl through the small gap between some stones.

Is there any way out? Or am I stuck due to a bug?

Thank you very much and best regards :-)

If I recall, look to your left for a way around the gap

That is not the problem. As I said: I managed to make a way around the gap - no problem at all. But if I follow the path to the chamber of darkness where the boss fight took place, the doors are closed. If I had back to where I entered the ancient caves, I cannot pass through the gap between stones which I used to enter. So I cannot follow the path as I could during the story and I also cannot track back to where I came from. :-(

Happened to me to with the Vatican level : I finished the Vatican, continued with Egypt, open the journal returned to the Vatican again to pick up the Artifacts that I didn't. When I returned back to Vatican I was forced to play the last sequence in the well again so that I could pick them up, because the last artifact is in the Vatican treasury and you can't go back after you pick it up,just forward to the Zeppelin. Now the door leading to the Zeppelin is locked and I'm stuck on the roof and I can't get off, the elevator isn't working, the only way I can go is to the door leading to the Zeppelin and now I cannot pass through them so I am stuck. I can continue the game normally but whenever I return to Vatican I am on the roof leading to the Zeppelin and I can't climb down, I am stuck in an Limbo

Sounds very similar to my situation. Unfortunately, there is no fast travel from these locations.

Maybe there are some commands that can be used in the development console? Clipping off, teleporting to other locations - something like that would help.

Look up. There is an unmarked ledge you can climb.

Thank you very much. Will see if I can find it. Is it at the entrance to the caves of darkness or at the entrance to the ancient caves?

There is a blocked see-trough opening located near the camera photo icon (near the the two artefacts). At that blocked see through opening, look 90 degrees to your right, and you will see a 2 panel stone sliding door. The stone sliding door has some holes drilled into it, but it will not / cannot be opened. While facing the stone door, turn around 180 degrees (directly behind you), and walk up to an unmarked ledge you will need to jump up onto.

Great - thank you. That was my solution. Did not find it. Happy that it is not a bug! 🙂
Thank you! For those that don't understand the comment above, you have to go back to the first part of the caves as far as you can (with the entrance that looks like you can go through but you can't) then follow the steps described above. The escape route is the part in the red circle on this image, from the perspective of the stone door.
