Voss Gold Stash Bug

Anyone else had a bug with Voss Gold Stash? I finished the quest without collecting the item from the officer you knock out, and I did this a while ago. I'm now going through collecting everything I missed and there is no way for me to collect this item from the officer anymore, preventing me from 100% the game.

Not sure if anyone else has encountered it and found a way around it?

Im a little late but i have the same problem right now. No chance of getting this item. Did you found a way to solve that problem?

Hey, yeah it turns out the item he should have was just on the table next to the safe :)
