The most noticeable non-game breaking bug to me is when collecting things. On getting the last one, the objective on the HUD continues to say you are short of an item. However checking the completion status in the game menus correctly shows complete. It's also quite difficult to find objects because they may appear on a sub-map rather than the main map.
The price felt a bit steep, but I caved in and bought in because I like this type of game. Fortunately , I've enjoyed the game, so no buyers remorse. If you can wait a year or so, it will be cheaper and the purchase decision will be easier.
Best Indy game since Fate Of Atlantis either way -- overall. They could have easily just gone with an Uncharted/Tomb Raider clone. But didn't. Similar to Alien:Isolation or Aliens: Dark Descent, they tried to adapt various gameplay elements to suit an IP, rather than just doing another action shooter whatever game with an IP lick of paint. Puzzles could be more complex though. Game runs fine even with entry level RT hardware.
The only reason to play a game is graphics? that's sad....
Well at this point there is an entire generation of gamers who have basically been spoiled from a video game perspective their entire lives.
No, the reason is very simple....
we are about to enter 2025...I am not willing to pay the price they say, for an obsolete game full of bugs...
I agree that there will always be people with little criteria, who being a fan of something, will lower their pants and pay whatever for an outdated product...
I am not one of those, I have a great computer, I am not going to waste it on things from the past..
Also I see that the game has a lot of problems, no, I am not going to pay this price for a defective product.
For this price, I can have a lot of much superior games...
But I understand that there will always be people, so blinded by what they like that they will do anything to have it...even leaving aside their criteria in order to have the latest garbage that comes out on the market...Very respectable
Outdated graphics + outdated combat + bugs (some prevent you from finishing the game) = $10 and I'm being generous...
Care to try that again?
You dislike the game, thats fine, there is no need to make this out to be a “sane vs less sane” decision.
I am just responding to someone who has prejudged me, with his personal opinion.
I am giving him my reasons for not buying it, if this offends someone it is simply his problem... he will know what kind of consumer he is and if he is happy with it.
As for player generation, also wrong, I have been playing since the screens were yellow phosphorescent....
100% a child, calling it!
