they said there are alot of moments in the movie timelines that allows for more unique stories.
I think this one is a more interesting (and as far as Indy games are concernced) original mix. Kinda like Dishonored/Thief meets Wolfenstein. There's even some elements from the adventure games (Fate Of Atlantis) back again.
Puzzles are simple, but at times it plays like Fate Of Atlantis in first person 3D. In particular in more "social" areas, e.g. villages or Vatican -- and of course riddle tombs.
All that said I reallllly doubt they ever do a remake. If they ever do another game I'm sure it would be a sequel to this of their own design.
Regarding a video game remake in the same style as The Great Circle I would be sceptical. The Fate of Atlantis is a point-and-click adventure game and every charm this game has would get lost if you turn it into an action adventure. The only way such a remake could stay faithful to the original game would be if they leave the gameplay as is and only work on the graphics. See for example the recently released remake for Riven, the sequel to Myst, which is like the original game, but now with a full 3D environment.
There isn't going to be another indiana Jones game but the dlc. the game is a financial flop.
I do not think that the game is a financial flop, it was the #2 best selling video game ending December 14th in the US, according to Mat Piscatella (who is a gaming industry analyst):

That doesn't mean anything. You have to consider the production costs and revenues. Both are wide apart.
That the game is a finacial flop is a hypothesis. That it sold well in December after its release in the US is a fact. So I would highly doubt that your hypothesis is true.
The fact that the game is on GamePass also indicates that this is the source which Microsoft will use to cover most of the game's cost. GamePass has currently 34 million subscribers. Not everyone on GamePass will play this game, of course. But everyone supports this game through the monthly subscription fee of around $10. That is how this works for Microsoft's 1st party games.
If it sold relatively well while also being in Gamepass I'd say that's a very positive sign. Also a PS5 version is coming. Stop being doom and gloom for whatever agenda reasons you have.
