GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 566.45. It may solve the game's intermittent micro-stuttering for Nvidia users
GeForce Hotfix Display Driver version 566.45 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 566.36.

This hotfix addresses the following issues:
  • [Indiana Jones and the Great Circle ] Some users may experience intermittent micro-stuttering [5015165]
  • Improved stability for UBISoft games using the Snowdrop engine [4914325]

Download it from here: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5608/

Of course, this will not fix the recurrent stutters/hitching issue when the game autosaves (checkpoints), a different known issue related to the game.

did they fix nvidia reflex who don't work ?
Virgo Dec 23, 2024 @ 7:12am
Yes, maybe they solved it but now, at least for me, activating vsync or triple buffer from the game causes massive stutter, when it didn't before. Activating it from the control panel solves the problem. There's always something wrong, i can't believe it

the major issue it nvidia reflex is broken ! when you active FG reflex must be on but in this game it's off i have no lock fps like reflexe on (138 fps for 144hz)
so i can feel big input lag even at 140 fps

If anyone is still experiencing frame pacing issues or maybe micro-stutters then I recommend going back to an old driver.

I have recently went back to 566.14 and have had zero issues since i did this.

I don't know if the hotfix fixed the micro-stutters for 566.36 but I will wait for another official driver release since not sure if the hotfix actually solved anything.

I also made a topic about this some time ago if you guys wanna check it out.

I am not sure about nvidia reflex, I haven't tried anything with that.

What was the problem with nvidia reflex ?

Thank you!!!
I've installed this driver and my FPS has been increased to 70 instead of 30 average.
High settings, DLSS ON with latest dll libraries.

I'm on 566.14 (3070). Game runs around 80-120fps but still having an issue where I randomly get severe input lag the more I progress into the map. Alt-tabbing out and into the game fixes it (temporarily). I wonder if it's some resource allocation issue with the CPU because it's running at 100% most of the time and is below minimum specs (9700k). I'm playing at 1080p with texture pool size at medium and never went over the maximum vram.

I'm using DLSS quality, frame gen off and Nvidia low latency off (same issue with on and ultra).

I've been using 566.36 since launch and the game is riddled with graphics issues. I've noticed that sometimes the fps will go to 2-3fps and my bluetooth xbox one controller will disconnect and reconnect and the fps shoots right back up to 60/fps/vsynced. As soon as i get this weird loss of control I know my controller is about to disconnect, fps drops to 2-3fps and then it reconnects and shoots right back up again. It only happens in this game oddly enough, other than this game is never disconnects.

The fix worked perfectly for me. With my 7800X3D and 4070 Ti SUPER, Frame Gen wasn’t performing well. Even at 1440p, my framerate occasionally dropped to 40fps, whereas it used to reach 70fps in the jungle. I should mention that I play on Ultra settings with Path Tracing also set to Ultra.
After the fix, I regained excellent performance. In the jungle, with Path Tracing and at 1700p, I now get 60 to 80fps. At the Vatican, it’s between 80 and 105fps. A dream come true!

FPS still better with 566.14 for me on 3070 ti. No stutter issues either.

Ep.
I'll try to set ultra settings too with DLSS and FG On.

Unfortunately this still doesn’t not solve the low latency settings causing frame time spikes when set to Ultra….

Also FG turns itself off after going into menus or cutscenes
