How do you get hints back or see old photo hints?

Trying not to give any spoilers here, but i got to a bit where you take a couple of photos of some latin text and it translates it to you. Immediately I figured these two semi cryptic hints were how you solve the puzzle right next to it... only problem is, I don't remember what it said.

I then took another photo of it, but nothing. No repeat of clue. I had a look through my journal and can't see it... surely there is some log of these clues you can access? You don't have to write everything down IRL right?

What am I missing?

Go to your journal. Select the quest and press the button for 'notes'. Then along the right side, your notes will be listed and you can look them over.

Found it, so here is the solution for anyone looking for the same answer. Photo clues are found again under the specific mission in the journal. I had initially had a look through the journal and couldn't see them because I had the wrong mission selected (thought I was doing something else, but it was a different mission in a similar place).

The translations were there, just hard to find. This is good because I have a terrible memory and didn't want extra hints or to google it... I simply wanted to know what i had been told already and thankfully was able to find that out.
