Game-breaking bug: Cannot interact with ladders or gaps

What it says in the title. When approaching a ladder or gap, the 3rd person view does not trigger and the objects remain inert (like walking into a wall...)
Noticed this in Sukhothai after I revisited previous maps for clean-up. Tried roll-back saves, GPU driver update, safe mode, tinkering with graphics setting - nada.
Anyone else having the same issues?
Or a workaround?

Same issue. Tried all you did too and as soon as I get to the certain section in Sukhotai I cannot climb ladders, shimmy and the parry button stops working (still mapped). I reported the bug as feedback on Bethesdas website and I think a bug fix will be needed to proceed.

I saw this bug on my spare pc.. not my main rig... not sure what fixed it but it went away after I changed these settings.. reduced monitor refresh from 240 to 144 hz, turned off all rgb software , turned off all overlays, turned off Rebar in bios. Turned off Hardware acceleration Gpu scheduling . Bug never showed back up. Only real glitch i had afterwards was Voss's whip got stuck straight as an arrow. Note that im on game pass version and not steams.

Yes, happened to me in Sukhothai in "Get to Gina" segment. Can't climb the ladder or slip through the crevice at the end, so I'm stuck and can't finish the game. Also noticed I can't block anymore in a fistfight...similar issues have been reported many times already. This game should have been pushed to 2025.

It seems that solution is to get Sunan to greet you, although there is no interaction prompt. Possibly this completes Sunan's previous quest (golden hook) and enables gaps and ladders to become "usable" again.
