Did the end of the game feel rushed for you?
I was amazed by the game up until Sukhotai. Sukhotai's production quality felt rushed. As a fan of MachineGames' prior work on the Wolfenstein series, there are parts of "The Great Circle" that just missed the mark in quality.

I became a bit disappointed with Sukhotai and its transition to Iraq with the "Blessed Pearl" mission. The quality of the triggers and environments felt very rushed. Let me provide some examples.

"Explore the Pyramid"

* Throwing a spear at a mushroom at an impossibly sharp angle looks terrible when it attaches.
* The water leeches are a joke and look extremely rushed in their effects. Can't even tell what I'm looking at. Fuzzy bees underwater?

"Escape the Temple" at Wat Mahathat

* When you're escaping the collapsing temple, rocks fall into the rising water with no splashes?
* As I was escaping and the water was rising, in the lower water area where there is a hidden artifact located, jumping into the water immediately kills you. There's a hidden artifact on the map where you will die if you attempt to grab it. Traversing and backtracking in Sukhotai is painful, and I didn't want to have to return to grab it.
* After dying several times trying to retrieve the artifact, I decided it wasn't possible, so I made my final climb to reach the large game room where you can hear the town locals and Gina shouting. All of a sudden, it went from a room with no water to one full of water in the blink of an eye. The NPCs were no longer there, and I realized I had to swim now to escape.

"Get to Gina"

* After the cutscene hanging on the branch near the waterfall with Gina being captured below, the path that takes you down to Gina is of horrible quality. The environment looks very rushed and bad in appearance. There's a parked vehicle with a large invisible wall for no reason, which just pulls you out of the game due to the lack of quality in the art and the tunnel leading to the bottom area of the waterfall. These final transition zones ultimately made these parts of the game feel rushed.

Iraq "Atonements"

I was honestly expecting a longer map for the finale, and it was very lackluster and disappointing. They should have spent as much time on this area as they did on The Vatican. I wanted to see the inside of the Ark and fight more enemies.

The Vatican was very good, Egypt good, the Himalayas rather brief. There was more to do in Sukhotai although I finished the main quest before finishing exploring, so will have to go back. I didn't notice problems with the scenery as I was too busy running away and avoiding hazards. The finale in Iraq is a bit more on rails. I need to finish it when I have a moment.

The whole game felt rushed, i'm not sure why they make these triple a games that go straight to the toilet.

Agree. When I first saw the Ziggurat of Ur in the last level I expected another full map with stuff to explore and not a literal "travel from point A to point B" in less than five minutes.
I wonder if material was cut, or if the future DLC slots into this space...

Those leeches...that only exist in the final cave waters. In what world do these exist? It was good enough to have Indy say out loud that they were there and that they would hurt you. One of a couple moments where I laughed out loud and wondered who authorized this silliness.
Na it was honestly fantastic. It was so perfectly Indiana Jones and made sense for the story. Also getting to box a funny egotistical German as he does karate, it was perfect. I think it’s up there with the peak finals of the movies. I was beyond impressed with this game as a whole and really hope it sells well on PlayStation so MG will make a sequel. For me it ranks 3rd in the series just behind Raiders and Crusade. After not getting anything in or with the trilogy for decades this was truly a dream come true of a game. Gamepass might of assured it’s a flop though; hopefully ps saves the day so we can get another entry. If MG are forced to move on the franchise is essentially dead. They’re the only ones to recreate the magic this well since the trilogy

It's the best part because Indy does what Indy does best in the ending.
Yes, you're right. The last part feels totally rushed. It seems that they were limited in time in the last monrhs of development.

I loved Sukhothai... I spent hours just exploring the jungle, I couldn't care for the story, same as in Gizeh. Those two felt like treasure hunting to me, while Vatican City was more like exploring ancient and secret history, well done. The idea of parking a German battleship on top of a mountain in the Himalayas was brilliant, excellent scenario.

Iraq really felt too short... sneaking up to the elevator, going down, into the tent... end. Then again, when the game turned into a movie again, I could have done without the quicktime-fight against Voss, just sit and enjoy the finale of this great game.
The "secret ending" was kind of a bummer, I'd expected some sort of alternative ending or additional scene.

I like the game but yeah the final areas feel a bit rushed.

Not in a "So rushed the game is bad!" way but the new characters in Siam barely do anything compared to the others.
Yes, I agree. Sukhotai and Iraq were just kind of bland. I don't know about rushed, but just a wrong design choice. Like every adventure game takes you to the jungle at some point, so it was kind of a bummer really. Although the hotel section before getting to the Sukhotai village was nice.

You go from the The Vatican (which is quite impressive if you ever visit in real life) to the pyramids to the top of a snow mountain to the invasion of China by Japan, then you ride around some random jungle on a boat...
