Help - revisited the idol of Ra site - stuck

I revisited Egypt because I hadn't found all the riddles of the ancients objects. 2 of these were the ones that are inside the underground site from the idol of Ra.
I was able to enter it and recover the ancients relics. However, now I can't go further and exit because the one door is shut nor can go back the way I entered, because Indy seems not to fit through the gap.

Did anyone have this experience as well? Any solution?
I still have lots to do in Egypt :/

the gap is not where you entered the cave you dropped off a tall ledge to the left of it climb back up that ledge...

Thanks I spent like a good solid hour going all over that cave the entrance where you enter gets closed off and the door to the dark caves where i previously fought the giant that door is shut - it was getting late and i just wanted OUT !! I might just recheck it out with a fresh mind ....

Edit: YES i re entered the cave paying special attention to the entrance path and yes you can re climb the tall ledge that drops you into the cavern that - So Crazy i walked by that ledge 25 times i bet!!! I just had a lot of trouble and confusion trying to re trace the entry point

I missed that gap because I was convinced I had passed through that gap I mentioned...
