Fight with Lucan at the Pyramid too hard.

Using the keyboard to fight Lucan is so hard at the Pyramid. I am not able to move as quick in the water as he is and seems very unfair. He can hit me from a distance whereas I have to move very close to him to hit. it is spoiling the game for me as I cannot move on to the next stage. Is there anyway of passing this section on? Seems to be a bad part of programming.

No, it's not bad programming, every fight with Locus is basically a reality check that you can't randomly swing your fists at every enemy and expect them to die. You beat the fight by using good use of blocking, parrying, and well-timed hits.

Hold until Voss fight, you will want to delete this game, thats broken unbalanced mechanic

In all fights, if you try and rain down punches you'll run out of stamina and get clobbered. Choose your moment to get a few in, do more if the enemy is stunned, and then back off. Use dodge moves when they attack and hit them in return. Repeat. Make sure you start "boss" fights with full health boosted by food. Locus isn't too hard. Voss later is harder but the same basic techniques. Get the hang of each "boss" and it won't take long.

Thanks for your reply. Problem for me is how close to be to hit and slowness of movement to move away. Also, I would have liked to go back to a previous save to redo some things. That is not possible once you have started cut scene.

It sounds like you are trying to fight the guy head on. You need to use stealth. Avoid the coins on the floor (these will make a loud sound that will draw the giant over to your location) and pick up one of the weapons. Sneak up behind the guy and bash him over the back of the head. Keep beating his brains out until your weapon breaks. Run, hide, repeat process several times until the big fella falls over.

With K&M
Voss is harder bc he got so much health.

at the Pyramid: Stay down, slow and dont make any sound.
Search for weapons (there are enough to beat him) and dont let him come to you.

You are talking about the blind Lucan which I defeated way back. This Lucan is so hard. I am using a keyboard and to twiddle with the fingers is so difficult. The game is brilliant best I J so far. Why you cant pass these bosses I don't know. For me it just spoils the game. :(

It's just a trick. Evade him, move backwards so you can see him, block his blows, let him run and beat until he is exhausted. When he stops and recuperates, attack him with the whip or your fists. You got to try several times, but it will work.

He shouldn't even have time to hit you if you dont get greedy on your hit and avoid the coins.

100%'d the gsme at max difficulty and this one hilarious fight, enjoyed it a lot too.

You're at the wrong place, Coffee. Preface4 is talking about the fight with Locus in the hidden pyramid at Sukothai, not of the fight with the blind giant in the cave of darkness at Gizeh, which is NOT Locus.

You're at the wrong place, Coffee. Preface4 is talking about the fight with Locus in the hidden pyramid at Sukothai, not of the fight with the blind giant in the cave of darkness at Gizeh, which is NOT Locus.

I was talking about the blind one tho as someone mentioned.


As for the Lucas, its the same thing than the blind. Move in your surroundings and don't be too greedy.

I'm surprised also many don't even use the dodge or block system, in this case it's almost only dodging tho. I guess it is introduced to players a tad too fast.

That in principle, is what I tried to say in the post above your first one.
It was obvious, he got out of breath after I constantly moved backwards and dodged his blows and when he catched his breath, I could attack him easily, wich weakened him more and more. Until Gina's speech ended the fight. :-))

Just shoot them as many times possible then go to fists
