7800X3D on Gigabyte X670
64GB DDR5 6000
RTX 4090
Gen 5 NVME Drive
(Edit, it is installed on one of my Gen 4 drives not my fastest one sorry)
It ran fine before and I have changed nothing since yesterday, the only thing I can see is a small update went through so I guess that broke the game for me as it is literally unplayble today.
14700K (300W old Bios) + 4090 + 990 Pro nvme
4k 55" with 120Hz (Gsync, not Vsync)
whats your Nvidia Driver/version?
I got 566.14
0 Stutter issues, 0 Crash problems.... Just with nvidia low latency... DONT use it.
Dropps my FPS from 100 to 70-80 + stutter issues
Turn it off in Nvidia control panel. (Add Indiana Jones and then deactivate it)
With 566.36 some ppls got weird problems...
Thats the reason i dont update my GPU driver right now. (Not sure if they fixed this problems...on Reddit its not only 1 person. Last comment is from a few days.)
More interested to hear from people who ARE having issues though, not who isn't as that really doesn't make any difference to me.
Try to use a older driver. Mostly that fixed those issues.
Look on reddit if you dont trust me...
For a lot of ppls the solution was: OLDER driver
A lot of ppls got crash problems and other stuff with 566.36.
But okay, go on
Have fun ;)
Its not that I don't trust you, it is that it worked perfectly fine on this driver for the last week or so and only when they update their game it breaks. So by process of elimination the update broke the game, not Nvidia.
I guess I am just stuck until they release another update that fixes what this one broke.
The same issues got ppls with the last update... (Crash after a small update from Indi, Problems with FG, reflex, stutter issues... and other stuff)
a "game" Update can have trouble with a "Driver" btw. (Old or new)
Go to reddit and other places and youll see
Good luck :) i Hope you find a solution.
Thank you, me too.
Yeah the problem is definitely associated with FG
Sigh... guess I will just park the game up until some more updates. Really wanted to finally get to finishing it but oh well, guess I will have to do that another day

@juicybeans
Nvidia with 566.36?
i Work over 10 years with servers, PCs and program btw...
But if you want to wait, good luck
I would try some stuff
For a lot of ppls a rollback to a older Nvidia driver was the solution, not for all.
And if it has nothing to do with Nvidia, Why for some ppls with the new Hotfix FROM Nvidia make it worse?
Drivers and games works together.
New game update = can have problems with a GPU driver (or windows)
New Nvidia driver = can cause problems with a game
And some stuff you should NOT activate in this game like low latency (you cant disable that in Indiana jones. Only in NV control panel)
Same for HDR and FG/DLSS and other stuff.
(I got 0 problems. Just an older driver with not latency)
If you activate all of that stuff, its just 1 klick to solve it with a older driver.
I bet those problems are not away with the next indiana jones update.
Those problems are there since release.
Try the latest HotFix from NVIDIA.

I completely understand you. I am myself in this situation. Game is really great but i really can't just simply finish it because it's unplayable. I was even okay with re-enabling FG after every cut scene, okay..... but now it's just stuttering all the time and showing 20-30 FPS after recent update. With all my desire and readiness to overcome some inconveniences at the current state it's simply unplayable.
And people who advise to "turn off FG or path tracing to get normal FPS and play" probably don't know what they're talking about. I bought a game fully supported by my hardware to run at max settings. So i want to play it on max available settings, not compromise on anything. I want to get experience i paid for. Disabling some graphic features is a competely wrong step here. So i'm waiting for a proper update. Perhaps we might see one when DLSS4 comes out. Cause the owners of the new 50 series cards won't tolerate this for sure.
Not only, with the hotfix as well
This been confirmed not to fix the problem for many users, me in particular and many others.
then try out 566.14 + no low latency in NV control panel for indiana jones.
solved the problem for a lot of ppls (or 566.36 without low latency first)
If you still got problems (and you use HDR) try to disable HDR.
Something is wrong with low latency + FG/DLSS (and HDR)
DLSS4 wont change anything in this situation btw... its a problem with FG and low latency from nvidia.
If they dont fix this problems, the 50cards are also affected.
That problems with low latency is just a 30second fix.... can anybody do without any negative effect on gaming. Not rly hard and a lot of ppls recommend it right now..
sad that a 30second fix is too much for the most. Have fun waiting for a fix from nvidia and devs. can took a looong time. Other ppls got a smooth exp. and have finished this game in this time.
First i got stutter issues and low FPS with low latency on. After i turned it off i got stable and smooth 100 FPS (+-) with 4k Max/Supreme settings
Thats the next joke: you CANT turn off low latency ingame. Only in Nvidia control panel. All other games ive played the last 12 month let you disable low latency ingame. (or reflex+boost whatever)
@Nicks
566.36 + Hotfix are worse then the older drivers
You can read this on many places. (Steam, reddit and other places)
and i think it takes more then a few days to work fine. (from Nvidia and the devs from indiana Jones)
