Failed to allocate video memory issue.
I was playing the game well, suddenly from yesterday i cant even start the game. it starts up then crashes and it says failed to allocate video memory.
I have 3070ti with ryzen 9 3900x and 32gb of ddr4 dual channel ram.
i have no issues with any other games just this one.

at the moment the only way to fix this is to revert to the previous nvidia driver, 566.14 or earlier. From 566.36 you get this on machines (like mine) that have low Vram in larger areas like Rome or Egypt. Hopefully they'll fix this in the future patches

Actually the game seems to work fine with the latest Nvidia Hotfix driver (566.45) as long as you edit your TheGreatCricleConfig.local file (in the "user"/Saved Games/MachineGames/TheGreatCircle/base folder) to change the is_PoolSize line to 900 or 1000 (by default it is much higher than that).

I was getting this crash on my Rtx3060 4GB of VRAM and now it works fine, and much smoother than with the older driver
