yes, also make sure you break open the little treasure chests when you see them in each location.

I think there is if one loots all the huts from the enemies, etc. And one should actually always buy everything useful before moving to the respective next area, because unfortunately one loses all money collected in this case. At least this happened when I arrived in Gizeh, while in the Vatican I had over 1K in the game currency which I better should have spent for some of the books or so.

yeah if you loot every single cash you come across in each level, each level you will have waay more than needed to buy everything in that level.

When you bought everything in the area the game tells you and after that you can donate the rest in some donation boxes around the map.

That's the one thing that they balanced out perfectly.

If you are a completionist, you will be rewarded.

Everything that you do is credited.

The funds you can use to purchase everything for sale on that map.

Adventure books, Lighter, Underwater Breather, etc...

There is far more than enough - I donated 1700 liras to museum because I bought everything in Giza.
