Am I missing something or is the boat pretty jank in the final hub?

I could be wrong but it feels super jank to actually drive.

It forces you to drop your two-handed weapon which isn't fun and some areas like the Gold side quest feel like they weren't designed with the boat at all.

Nowhere near to park for Gina to get out and when you just get out after awkwardly crashing against an invisible wall near land, the dialogue acts like Indy just randomly jumped in for a swim which feels like I'm doing something wrong.
