Stuck in Gizeh ancient caves

I revisited Gizeh after finishing the main storyline in the area to finish up some collectibles. I went back into the caves (the one that has the bunch of puzzles as part of the main storyline). Anyway, I got to the place where you have to cross the cavern. The exit on the other side is sealed, and I can't go backwards because I can't crawl through the hole I came in from. So I'm stuck???

Is it not that one can fast travel anywhere once one finished the game? Open the menu and select Travel to teleport to any chapter of the game.

I can't remember that spot, but I don't think it's possible to get stuck because you can revisit almost any location.

I got lost in one cavern on a revisit, but still managed to find my way back out.

Will the game let you fast travel out of there?

Open your book, got to Travel, press R to go to a different location.

GuiltyDoggy, I did the same thing. I crawled into the hole in the sand right beside the pyramid to complete a few photographs, but I got stuck in the cave. I can't get back through the hole to leave, and the "Puzzle Door" is completed and locked now. I'm totally stuck. I hope there is a solution.

No teleporting helps because when you come back to a location, you spawn in the same checkpoint you left from.

Jump up on the ledge near the entry point of that section. It is hard to see but is just to the right of the entry point.

Did you figure this out? Same issue here. kohyde's comment didn't help since I don't know what ledge, nor what entry point he's talking about

Solution to this is posted in a couple of threads here already.

There is a ledge up sort of high with no paint you should use.

Ive tried searching for other threads but haven’t found them. Still cant find any ledge. Where is it, if Im facing due west while standing near the truck blocking an entryway?

I just had the same issue and figured it out. The hole that you crawl through to enter the cavern from the light puzzle room.

As you crawl through, there is a sealed door to your left and the high ledge you need to escape on your right.

That ledge leads to a path that loops around behind the hole that you enter the main cavern through.

I have been stuck on this part for longer than I care to admit. lol

Jump on the broken pilar on the ground, than onto the ledge.
