Tell me, how long does it take to complete the game?

The site "Howlongtobeat" says that on average it takes 14 hours.
Is this true? It turns out somehow expensive, if it goes by so quickly, plus a lot of videos...

it's an sp narrative game, it ain't gonna be 100 hours long like those open world games with a thousand collectibles

The price, for me, is too high for a narrative game that you can complete in 14 hours and there is nothing else to do there.

played 46 Hour for 100% but I was really enjoying the envoirments so some sightseeing included. it's a adventure game after all.

raw main story without sides and collectibles is 15 hours I think.

edit: 5-6 hours of my playtime where spent on searching for collectibles not shown on the map.

not that i don't take your word for it, but you can leave the game running for thousands of hours and steam wound count it as the counter counts whenever the exe is running

Just completed the game with main story and all fieldwork / side quests completed done (not all collectables though) and came in at 47 hours. I did take my time with it though soaking it in. You could probably get through the main story in around 15-20 hours if that was all you wanted to do.

yea no i did not do that, infact i went really quik, guy above me took even longer than me.

i can give you my steam recording and show you how i ussualy play

for reference, black myth wukong took me 34 hours to beat, you can see my profile for that one aswell

21.6 hours played and I have just completed the main story and run around doing some random stuff. Gaming like it's meant to be.
Going to uninstall now, not interesting enough to keep going for extra sidemissions etc.

Honestly it depends on what kind of player you are. Will yoi only play the story? Then around 15-20 hours. But if you'll do all the side stuff (which is really good) and take your time checking out all the cool details then it will be easily around 30-40 hours.

My first blind playthrough took ~35hrs with doing all sidequests, skill book / medicine bottle loots and most mini mystery quests. Didn't cared much about the artifacts.

The side stuff increases your hp / stamina (medicine bottles), unlock more inv slots, combat skills (skill books), buy hint maps which unlocks all stuff on the map (takes money) and every side stuff gives skill pts that you need for the skill books.

The mainstory only needs about 8hrs (video on youtube) and can be played mostly in stealth, only when things go wrong you're forced into combat and then you want the described bonusses above.
