(blocking bug) Sanctuary of the Guardians (scorpions / light mirrors)

I'm pretty sure I'm glitched at a save spot while doing the Sanctuary of the Guardians.

I'm with Gina in the tombs with the scorpions, two fire torches and those mirrors you have to move into position for the light.

I've done the first part successfully but now entered an area where the middle of the floor has caved out and you have to either jump or go around. There's a mirror on a higher point, pointing towards a door with scorpions around. If a roam around that area, it says "Press E to help Gina up", yet that doesn't do anything.

Gina is still on the other side of the floor gap waiting around and won't come to that position.

At around the 12 minute mark is where I'm at, but Gina hasn't noticed the mirror, nor asked to get her up there.

I manged to fix the issue by "Game Load", pressing "R" for a Roll Back of the saved game.

Lost about 30 minutes worth but after redoing that it worked fine this time around.

I went towards the "mirror light" to help Gina up first this time, rather than going the other way to collect an artifact before heading back.

It's an issue with the Gina bot pathing around that area, if exploring it too much, she walks off, gets stuck and stops moving.

A possible fix for this and perhaps similar glitches/blocks is to reset the bots location to safe areas during the saving or loading of games? Depending on what the bot's path is to follow vs what area you are currently in...

Im stuck in the same glitch.. I'm in the room where the mirror is on top of the pillar with the scorpions around on ledges, but Gina wont come into the room to start the conversation about the light. When i restart from the last save, its still in that same spot. Have no clue how to go back further.

You have to go under the game menu to load a game and using "R" on your save games to roll back to the previous one(s).

+1 same here exact same story on gamepass. it also gets progressively more laggy each death/checkpoint reload. "quit game" let it get itself sorted to full framerate again then load checkpoint.

I'm currently stuck in the same area. She's just standing in a corner like a dumbass and I can't do anything to progress. My last rollback save is back at the Vatican, over an hour and a half of in-game time ago.

If there's not another fix for this issue, it's safe to say I'm done with this game. Don't know what they were thinking with this save system.

I haven't found another way around it unfortunately.

My roll back was approx 30 mins worth, it goes a lot quicker since you had already done it to get back to where you are, but still was a bit annoying.

Since then I've clocked the entire game and quite enjoyed it otherwise.

I have had this same issue, she gets stuck in the room where the artifact was. The fix I found was to push her back to the area where she needs to climb up. It took a few minutes but if you walk into her she will move to get out of your way, so you can kind of direct her to the next room where she needs to climb. Once she got there she went into her dialog and animation and I could get her to climb.

It was my last ditch attempt to make it work as my save rollback was 3 hours earlier. So glad it worked!

I did actually try to push her myself before doing my save rollback, but that got her stuck worst in my case. Glad it however worked for you! Worthwhile trying for others too.
