Crashing
I have had a blast from the moments i’ve had playing this game. I have just been stopped from the constant crashing it feels like every 20-30 minutes. I have an intel i9-14900k geforce rtx 4070 super ddr5 6,400mhz 32gb and Windows 10-64 bit. I am crashing a ton. From what I read, I defiently am not the only one but is this an intel issue? Is anyone else experiencing these random crashes? Nothing overheats or sudden drops in graphics the game just straight up crashes with no error message

Did you downgrade the graphics drivers? The most up to date drivers are a wreck and seem to be causing a lot of issues including crashing.

No and that could be the problem. I have the latest nvidia driver that came out on the 5th. I know they released it and even quoted it was for this game too.

Downgrade first and retest. In my case (4090) I just got really low garbage frames and graphical glitches but lower end cards seemed more prone to crashing.

On the latest drivers for this game with everything maxed @4K I saw 25-40fps depending on where I was in the game on the latest drivers, now I see a very consistent 80fps just from downgrading.

I didn't bother with DDU either, I just grabbed the previous release from nvidia and did a clean install and all has been fine for everything. Just remember to redo any settings in the nvidia control panel as they get wiped.

Same issue, with old and new nVidia driver. I have Steam version, RTX 4090, 14900K, Windows 11

The game is bugged at the moment. Several people get random crash to desktop. We need a patch and that's it. This problem is so widespread that the devs must react.

Agreed.

My game was randomly freezing/crashing so I transferred it to an SSD but the problem remained until I stopped launching MSI Afterburner and Rivatuner to control temps. Now the game hasn't crashed after several hours :0)

I have nearly 40 hrs into the game running i7-13700k,32gb DDR5,EVGA 3080, 2tb nvme, and havent had a single crash. Had a slight stutter in a cut scene but thats it. Using Win 10 and all my drivers are up to date.

It's not just an intel problem. I have an AMD 7700x/4070ti/DDR5 6k mhz 32gb and am also getting the same crash. I haven't dug in too far but I suspect some local file cache is getting
corrupted at some point during gameplay that causes the crash to happen more frequently, as I have found uninstalling and reinstalling the game is basically the only workaround for me. Rolling back GPU drivers (even using DDU) doesn't do anything, nor verifying game file integrity.

I've been monitoring temps and there haven't even been spikes out of the normal operating range, in fact this game seems to run cooler on my system than say Remnant II or Apex.

same for me. game keeps crashing. safe mode and runing as admin dont help. fix?

Well, for me it was my m.2 nvme (XPG Gammix S50) that was causing the crashes. When i moved the files to a Samsung SSD Evo 850, it never crashed again. I am playing the gamepass version. I don't know the exact cause: if it is related to some windows 11 update combined with DirectStorage usage or to hardware failure (less likely).

I've tried everything, and it is still crashing for me. Instant crash, no error message. There is no way to progress any further. Tried at least 30 times. This has to be a game issue.
