What year is it in the game?

I wonder, in which year does the game take place? I mean, I saw gameplay footage of fighting nazi, is it because of time travel in 1940 or it is litterally 1940 in this game Indiana Jones just happen to be born to be able to fight the nazi? or there are somehow just happen to be nazi way after they should have been defeated and we have to take them down?

It takes place in-between The Lost Ark and Temple of Doom, so 1937/38.

The Nazi's being in Egypt and Iraq are a plot device though. A plot device used in the Lost Ark movie. Egypt and Iraq were still largely under British Military control.

Have you actually watched any of the Indiana Jones films? Because you seem to be remarkably ignorant of the time periods they were set in. Or is this an award farming post?

• 1969: Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

Game is set in 1938 (with some inconsistencies along the way with ammo produced in 1939 and some minor other things)

Some history there's also a series called "The Adventure of Young Indiana Jones". Which is him serving during WW1 it's also a good series..

I didn't know the temple of Doom was chronically the earliest in timeline I always though the movies were chronologically in order. Thanks for Sharing.
