Steam Deck performance is bizarre
So I tried it on the Deck to see how it ran, and even with every setting turned to low, the performance was abysmal. Green eyes on every character, muddy textures, frame-rate dipping in the low 20's. I don't know if they'll optimise the game any time in the future, but it's unplayable on the handheld at this time.

You have to be on SteamOS beta to get fixes for green eyes. The game runs acceptably, 25-30 fps, gets a bit worse further in. It can look pretty rough, but also great at times. It should get quite a bit better once they implement FSR, which is apparently coming.
I've played it on the beta and found it to be very impressive for the steam deck. That's a big caveat, but it was totally playable and still a pretty gorgeous game all things considered. Of course it looks WAY better on an actual gaming desktop, but still, I would play it start to finish on the Deck and enjoy it.

I'll have to check out the beta to see the difference. Thanks man.
