i was going to seriously buy this game on release but that right there guaranteed a $10 price tag purchase. so the game is basically ready but you want to rake your claws into people's wallets to play a few days early. what a dumb marketing decision.

Have you even looked at what premium includes? 3 days early play, story DLC, digital stuff (don't care much for that) and an extra outfit/whip. $100 is validated

If the story dlc is pretty chuncky might be worth but i have a question. I purchased the ultimate edition on a third party site, but steam seems to think release date is 9th, ? will it still unlock at midnight coz i paid extra for this edition

The price in no way validates a few digital trinkets and a FOMO hit three days before most other people. Sensible people wait a few months and get everything for a discount.

Yeah and then I'll wait for dlc reviews before spending extra.

Bethesda cracked a code on Steam and found out that enticing the people with the highest demand (i.e. whales) to review the game first will create free advertising. This happened with Starfield which went from 80-90% before "release," when it was objectively in its worst shape, to around 59% presently.

Love Indy but AI is dumb as a box of rocks and react twice as worse as Dishonored so that alone makes the game worth only $45 and not $70 or definitely not $!00,so put it on your wishlist and buy it next summer for 35-45% off.
